Nicola - a fine shot! I think the California Nebula is a very hard film target. I notice that the
histogram is clipped. I wonder if you re-processed it and tried not to lose the faint detail you
might find it easier to tease out the nebula without the vignetting becoming a problem? It might
improve the background too since it looks a little lifeless, due to the clipping I expect.

Dear All,
I inserted in my web site http://astrofoto.laza.it a wide field shot of
California Nebula NGC1499. It is a stack of 2 shots of 20 minutes each with
E200 took last August.
The image is a little bit weak in brightness due to the fact the exposure
time was short and I had to boost curving, and as result , vignetting came
out so much that it was hard to get rid the most of it.
Nevertheless the nebula is there and with some detail too :-)
I hope you enjoy it, I welcome comments and criticism as usual.
