[APML] Provia vs E-Chrome
Nicola,
I can't talk to item 3), but I've made 40min exposures of
NGC 7000 and of the Gamma Cygni region
with both, and the Elite Chrome 200 has
stronger saturation/contrast than the Provia.

2) Fuji Provia 400F, as far as I can see, it is not very good at nebulas
as
E200 is. I took a shot of Orion and where in more or less the same
conditions with the E200 I could see the Barnard Loop, with Provia I
don't
see anything.
3) Fuji Provia seems very good at galaxies: I recorded M31 and M33 (for
the
first time) and it seems I got a fair amount of details considering the
telephoto lens I was using.
I'd like you to share with me your opinions about points 2 and 3. :-)
Especially because on the mailing list some of you is actually using
Provia
400F for nebulas so it means that perhaps there are different Provias
around....
Regards,
Nicola
