I ordered this as well a couple of months ago.  Turns out it's the Academic 
Version which is why you can't register at Adobe.  It is a full version of 
Photoshop 7.0 though, and will take the updates off of the Adobe site.  I 
work for a University so the Academic part is not a problem for me.  The 
normal academic pricing is $249.00.
