Hi Eric,

There is a stacking program for the Mac for $10 called Keith's Image 
Stacker, it's at: http://www.unm.edu/~keithw/keithsImageStacker.html

It looks like it's for stacking web cam images, so I don't know if it will 
do large file sizes, but a friend of mine who uses it on a Mac thinks it will.

I'm glad my web site helped, the how to get an average blend in layers is a 
tricky one that I didn't get either when I first started using Photoshop 
all those years ago.
