Thanks for the comments.

We had 4 clear nights out of 4 with wind only affecting us on 1 night (and
then it was occasional gusts - not windy all the time).

It was very dry (no dew heaters were required), and any cloud/bad weather
stayed below us (in fact it was weird too see a lightning storm below us).

We set up our equipment at the rear of the hotel along the fence by the
Gym/swimming pool. (Near to where a German amateur - Peter Schroeder -
stores a 24 inch dobsonian) This partly blocked any light from the hotel,
which was very subdued anyway.

In any event, the hotel turn of all lights at the rear at midnight. The
lighting was not really a problem at all.

I am sure you will have a wonderful time.

Now I know why Matt Ben Daniel chose this area for his "Slooh" project.
