Nice image , I love the colors !

 

I hope you dont mind if I tried an unsharp mask on your image to have more details in sunspots , I have PS 7 and the setting for the unsharp mask I tried is 100% - 2,4 pixels - 2 level , the result , at my eyes , is better , maybe you should try it on your uncompressed image.

 

Let me know what you think about that.
