RE: [APML] Orion Short Tube 80



Hi Frank,
I did use a ST80 (Celestron) for AP for a year or so and highly recommend the MV-1 if you go that route.  It served me pretty well until I could afford a TV85. 
Here are some examples (check the first for roll-off in the corners as an example of the vinetting.)

Does anyone on the list use the Orion Short Tube 80 for AP?  Any problems with vignetting on a 35mm frame?  As an achromat would I need a minus violet filter for film?
