Re: [APML] Orion Short Tube 80

Hi Frank,

I personally do not own one, but from what I've heard, fast f/ratio achromat
suffer quite seriously from blue region being out of focus so you definetely
need a "minus violet" like filtre.
>From a vignetting point of view than I'm sorry but can't help you much in
that. Hope someone else can give us some info regarding that.

cheers
Nicola

Does anyone on the list use the Orion Short Tube 80 for AP? Any problems
with vignetting on a 35mm frame? As an achromat would I need a minus violet
filter for film?

TIA, Frank
