[APML] NGC 7000 / Gamma Cygni --- from Brooklyn!

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Well, I haven't solve my Tech Pan problems yet and I haven't had a
chance to get out after my last attempt. But I finally scanned the
*other* roll of film I took that night. It was E200 and I developed
it myself using one of those home E6 kits. The end result is here

        http://www.astrofoto.org/gallery/ngc/ngc7000.html

My focus was off since I hadn't done a focus test yet; this was
supposed to be general exposure test. I have an exposure test done
now, so I'm ready to go try again....

Oh, and I also learned to NEVER use one of those film squeegees. I
did on this and it has lines done the length of the film. And what's
worse, I've been doing this on my B&W shots and kept thinking
something was going bad with my scanner. Then I scanned some other
film today that came out of a local shop---no lines! I'm a bit slow
sometimes....
