Hi Mike,

Alas, were it only true...

Adobe is claiming "comprehensive" 16-bit support, but then saying "expanded 
support for 16-bit images in core features".

The new Photoshop will do a lot more 16 bit operations, most usefully 
layers and Apply Image and color range, but not everything.

Some of the filters are not completely supported. For example, the minimum 
filter is 16 bit, but the Smart Blur filter is not.

At least that is what I hear.
