Re: [APML] New member
Hello Mike
Thank you very much I see it as a great compliment
I cant say if it is a typical thing for the camera because I never tried an
other one so I just cant compare,
but it has very low noise, I never use dark or bias frames, I usually take
10 min. subexposures
and dither between the single frames, before aligning I resize everything to
double size,so I get a very clean Image especially for a camera with a
rather small chip size ( 752*580).
the funny thing is that the longer my luminance exposure is the less color
information I seem to need to still get a good color balance, for the last
few images I took I just had 10 min of each rgb channel in full resolution
which I thought would be way to short but for some reason it seems to work.
As far as processing I know my images could have a little bit more red, but
it seems to me that as soon as I get the deep red colour I loose detail in
the nebulas,so I rather go for the detail.
I have just redone my homepage, so if anybody is interested.
