Hi Charles,

I have used an SS4000 on my Win2K box with no problems.

You might need the Windows 2000 ASPI driver. Try a search for aspi_471.exe 
on Google. That's the one that works for me.

You might also want to update the firmware in the scanner and run Polaroid 
Insight 5.51, both of these can be downloaded from the Polaroid site.
