Hi Charles:
I use the old SprintScan Plus (35 mm) so this may not be relevant, but did
you try the Polaroid website for the latest drivers and software version for
your 4000? When I got my refurbished SprintScan, I downloaded the driver and
Polaroid software from their site and it worked fine on my SCSI card with
Win 2000 pro.
