Re: [APML] Polaroid SS 4000 scan questions
Alan,
I can't help with your questions. However, its interesting to see your
post pop up when I'm currently struggling with getting my Polaroid SS
4000 to work under Win2K pro.
If any one has any ideas I'm open for suggestions:
Setup:
Dell Dimension with PIII 866Gz and 512Mb ram.
Win2K pro, service pack 4.
Adaptec 2930CU SCSI.
Basically, I cannot get the SCSI card to recognize the scanner. On boot
up the SCSI hits the scanner, communicates with the scanner (I'm
assuming this beacuse the scanner goes through some gyrations) and then
the SCSI comes back with "Unexpected timeout has occurred" and stops.
Windows will boot; It sees the SCSI and tells me it is operating
normally but no scanner.
Ideas? Anybody?
I want to scan some astrophoto work.
TIA
Charles Packard
