Re: [APML] Tak Epsilon
Also be prepared for a central hotspot with gradual light fall-off toward
the outer portion of the frame. I had a Epsilon 130 and this was true for
35mm. My Tak BRC astrograph has the effect (not as bad) on medium format.
Chuck Vaughn says this light fall-off is intrinsic for a fast newt. Having
photographed with a Tak Ep 130 (f/3.3), a Tak BRC (f/5), and a home-made
f/4.25 newt I have enough experience to back up what he says. But Photoshop
can deal with this problem in most cases.
