Re: [APML] LASIK



I've looked for this fabled "Man in the Moon" for years.!!  My wife can see it every time....she thinks I'm nuts!  Maybe I can work that into my reasoning for getting the Lasik. :)

  I had lasik just over a year and a half ago. I went from 20/80 to 20/15 in
one eye and to 20/25 in the other. No problems.
  As far as eyepieces, for most people the eyepiece will correct for
far/near sightedness. My problem was astigmatism for which an eyepiece
cannot correct. The surgery is a Godsend there. I now see the 5 pointed
"star" when looking unaided at Venus and Sirius, and yes, there really is a
"man in the moon" :-)
