Re: [APML] LASIK



This is a very interesting argument! I've asked my oculist about lasik &C and he said me that they go to correct only 3-4mm of the cornea, so only a central part of the eye. This
is not a problem in normal use, but for an amatour astronomer this is important, we'd like to use 7-8mm of aperture! A further consideration is that after such a correction it's
nearly impossible to correct only a part of the eye with glasses!

But I'd like to hear more from some doctor that is also amatour astronomer! Maybe there are other factors.
