RE: [APML] Observatory Progress - the Final image.



I am going to follow in the footsteps of the Master, Loke Tan, and use both tri color tech pan and E200 pushed 1 stop.  I have the same wratten filters as Loke, and am looking forward to some very deep images in the 92 wratten arena.

Hi all, This weekend, we finished our observatory project by intalling the 8 inch schmidt camera.  Now the fun begins, shooting the fall and winter skies from a extremely dark sky site.  I hope the next postings youll hear from this instrument will be rich full colored imagery!  Heres the final shot:
