[APML] Multigrade filters: Any good for astro-pics?

Hi..

 

Was wondering if the Agfa, Kodak or Ilford Multigrade filters as used for darkroom photo printing images, be any good for astro imaging ? Any one used them before? and what was the results?

 

I have a  box of 10, the these Kodak Multgrade filters which I could cut down to fit various lenses.  Each filter one is about 4"  square.
