Re: [APML] Hypering Chambers

Hi Thom:
I just sold my Lumicon 600 kit so I can't give you dimensions but the ID of the 600 was just big enough to comfortably fit a Paterson auto-loading reel. If you buy one of those (any photo dealer, and I recommend it for easy handling in a changing bag) you can get the dimensions from it. The inner height was enough to lay a 35 mm cassette on top of the reel. I think handling film on the reel with the cassette still attached would have been easier with another half-inch ID or a square inside footprint so the cassette could stand in a corner without having to be put on top.

Subject: [APML] Hypering Chambers

Hey all, new member here.  I am planning to build a hypering chamber and am looking for some dimensions.  There is a lot of info on the web about techniques but not so much on hardware, so if someone has a Lumicon 300, 600, or home built model I would like to know the OD, ID and height as well as any other construction details that might help.

Thanks in advance,
