Chris got my creative juices stirred up a bit, I just finished my first
attempt at a composite. To make things a bit more convincing, I added a
gradient to simulate haze near the horizon. While this may not be as
exciting as Rob G's new M31, I think that I may have just found a new
pastime for all these cloudy nights. This is the view from my observing
site..... Thanks for the idea Chris!
