Great image Chris!
    Very nicely done. I have the same problem - clouds. Worse this year than
ever, and I have been thinking of giving this composite technique a try. Any
chance that you could give us a brief description of how you did it?

Since it's cloudy outside and also a full moon, I dug around in some images
from earlier this year and created the following.
I backed way off on the saturation to try and create a more realistic night
look....
