I don't have that much experience with using RegiStar, I've only used its
most basic functions so far. But this would be a great opportunity to learn
some of its other features better.

This weekend I'm going to try some of the suggestions for combining images
to remove defects (many scratches in my case). I'll post the results (maybe
before and after images), as well as anything I learn that might be helpful
to the list. The images I have in mind are a couple of M57 that look quite
good other than the many scratches all over the negatives.

I'll repost once I have some results to report. Thanks to all for the
suggestions.

If nothing else I've learned that Auriga Imaging monitors this list!
