Hi Grant

The Photo Guider is just the RA head (there is no dec axis or
counterweights) as it's designed just for cameras or very small scopes. It's
the same head as the GP (not the GP-DX as I stated in my earlier email), so
it's similar to what you've got.

It may be that if you want to travel with just the head (with or w/o
counterweights), you may still be able to do some AP through a camera/lens.
You are absolutely correct, though. Just pick it all up in one hand and off
you go.

 I reckon that with proper alignment, I should be able to go to 30 minutes
without trailing with a 50mm lens.
