One other thing that I would stress is that the min and max on-time should be set so that the mount stays within a certain range. The min on-time should be between .03 and .05 seconds (30 to 50 msec). This insures that the mount will move at least .45 to .75 arc seconds in response to any guide signal. I would set the maximum on-time to no more than 0.5 seconds (500 msec) so that the mount will not move more than 7.5 arc sec at 1x guide rate, or smaller amounts at .5x and .25x.
