Re: [APML] Leonids 2002 <preparing>

Thanks Mike..

The moon will hang 6 deg. above the horizon at maximum (530am, 430am), depending which has better weather.

I remeber the fuji 800 was a nice one to use, but with much grain.
Im looking for other film recomendations like provia 400 pushed?
Any thoughts on this or other film is appreciated

Brian,

Just a thought...you have an opportunity for comparing results of dark of the moon versus full moon this month by shooting half a roll now and the rest later in the month.  Although your washout will vary depending on angular distance from the moon among other factors, this might give you a good idea.

Luck,

Hey all

This year I will be taping and of course taking pics of the leonids.
However, with the full moon, what should exposure lengths be using Fuji 800 spd?
With the full moon, I know the faintest could be washed out.
Any other recomendations of what film to use that have a good colour balance?

Thanks,
Brian
