Bert, Roland,
  Bert, my suspicion is that video memory may be an issue for you if the
movies are "sticking". Also, Quicktime has a version 6 free download. You
might also try that.
  Roland, it's the object moving East to West at the top of the image. The
event is captured at 30 fps but I believe these movies were built at 10 fps.
It's the "scientist" thing.
