Robert,

I agree all the way with your assessment of Ron's presentations at
AstroImage2002.  I'm a film guy now (CCD's in the future sometime) and I
learned a lot from Ron about processing that I'm putting into use on my
scanned film images.  I'm getting Ron's book and I can hardly wait for Jerry
Lodriguss' new book on image processing.

Your comment that the darkroom is dead, rather than film, is also very
correct.  I think CCD's and film both have a place in astrophotography,
regardless of S&T's position on the subject.
