I did a save to disk and got them to download OK I think. One ran fine, but Quicktime choked on the other two. Never did see a meteor in the one that ran, but I'll try downloading and running again. Thanks....

Bert,
  That's what I meant when I said the movies would take a LONG time to load. You are downloading from an FTP site at Sandia Labs and it is quite slow. The movies can take as much as 8 to 10 minutes to load. Even with a blank screen and the "done" status showing, you are still downloading so just let it go until the movie appears on your screen. I know this is inconvenient but I have no place to put them for faster downloads. Sorry.
