It is a hard "G". Thanks for letting me know. Timothy is really making the rounds

promoting his new book. I've read it and its superb. Full of passion for astronomy.

It really makes one feel proud of the amateur astronomy community.

Tonight, Monday October 7, 2002 at about 7:00 PM astronomer Timothy Ferris was interviewed on Los Angeles PBS channel 28 regarding his new book.  He had much praise for the amateur astronomer -- especially Robert Gendler ... "who takes Hubbell-like images from his home !"  He pronounced Robert's last name with a hard "G" like in green instead of a soft "G" like in Gerald.  Since I have heard both, I wonder if Robert could give us the correct one.
