Hi Joe and nice image. I did check the image in
PS and you're not clipped but the red channel is too bright in the shadows. If
you will go into PS "levels" and then go to the red channel; pull the left
slider over close to the left of the curve. This will dim the overall red tint
of the entire image and help to seperate the nebula out of the background a
bit, which will give the image some more depth. A little of the faint
nebulosity may be lost.

I have another image I just finished.
I checked the RGB and red histograms in PS, I think they are where
there supposed to be. Can someone check them
for me to see if I'm in the ball
park? If there not I'll need a pointer to a good explanation of how to
adjust my images. I tend to go by eye and hope that
the histograms stay in the
correct place. But I will redo my last adjustment if the curve in the
histogram is clipped to one side or the other. (at lest in my newer
images)

Thanks, Joe
