Re: [APML] M27, Bubble and Scorpion

Thanks Chris, thanks Andreas

I tried the scorpoin area without the IDAS LPR filter for several times. But the horizon was always too bright to see some of the beautifull colors and nebulas. But this time, with the filter, it works!

It is a sad fact, that the technology and the equipment gets better and better, but the sky gets worse and worse.

Manfred, that is some amazing results from a light polluted site with that filter.  Great work!

Subject: [APML] M27, Bubble and Scorpion

Hi all,

I've uploaded some new pictures to my homepage.

This is a composit with a new version on KODAK E200. The old SUPRA 400 image gave me some blue and green for the inner part of the nebula. The new image with the E200 gives me better sharpness and more of the red, YEAHH - I have the ears of the nebula !!!

This image is done with the IDAS LPR filter. It seems, that the filter will pass near all important colors. Only the blue could be better, but that is also the fault of the KODAK E 200.

This image is done in my garden at a sky of around 4mag. Normaly I have to drive an hour from home to get a dark sky, but with the IDAS LPR filter and a ratio of f/9 I can do such images from home now !!!

Comments are wellcome,
Manfred
