RE: [APML] September images

Joe,
The IC1805 looks very nice.  Looking at it in Photoshop, I see one thing that another APMLer brought to my attention of one of my images.  The red channel histogram does not peak at the top of the box.  I believe this is an indication of chopping the red channel in the brightest parts of the image.  I could be very wrong on this.  I think you just have to watch your curves adjustments and how they impact the histogram.  I do think your focus is off with the SCT.  Good luck and best wishes this new Moon.

I started processing my images from September and I have two to show the list.
Both are from the same roll of E200 pushed +1 stop. The IC1805 was taken with my 5" refractor
and the second with my Celestron C11.

This image to me looks out of focus or something's wrong with it, but I can't figure
it out. Any suggestion? I use the STI knife edge focuser but on the SCT it's not as easy to use.

Thanks, Joe Schaefer.
