A used camera body can be had for less than $150. Since all it does is hold
the film, and
open and close a shutter, just about any body that doesn't need power to
keep the shutter
open is suitable. Availability of commercial KEF's like those from Hutech
might make
some camera types more desirable than others. Anybody with a hand drill
can install a
purging port in a T-ring.
The used camera body can actually still be used as a camera.
If the Taurus is comparably priced, it might be worth considering.
