Re: [APML] Royal Gold and Supra films
Thanks Joe,
I have to marvel at their "market speak"! <g>
"short red spectral sensitivity ... to optimise accurate skin tone
reproduction over a wide range of flesh tones" Yes, yes, "flesh tones" at
the expense of everything else, including any attempt to reproduce the
visible spectrum accurately <g> For this I think we can read: "we have
decided to flush Ha response down the pan" <g> Also I expect that OIII
response has been very seriously messed up.
I think that Kodak may be losing the plot with these "flesh films" - they
simply do not reproduce the visible spectrum accurately. Portra is another
example. Accurate reproduction of the visible spectrum is what Kodak is
supposed to be all about, and the basis on which they made their original
fortune.
