[APML] off-axis guiders

Hi friends,

I have decided to get an off-axis guider for my telescope and I would like to have some advises on which OAG is best for my setup.

My telescope is an 8" f/5 F1000mm Newtonian with an EQ5 mount, dual axis motor drive and drive corrector. I can use both 1.25" or 2" focuser on the telescope. I also have a barlow x3 lens and a 10mm reticle eyepiece.

The two off-axis guiders I'm thinking of, are:
1.  Lumicon Newtonian Easy Guider
2. The TAURUS Tracker III

My other question is, is it better if I use the 2" focuser than the 1.25?

Thank you for your time.

Marios.
