In my opinion you don't need much of what a camera offers, only 
something to hold the film.  My camera is a Graflex 120 back attached to 
a plate with a ring that attaches to my Lumicon Giant Easy Guider.

There is no vignetting at all in this system.  The whole image the 
telescope produces is captured on the film, though it is not all usable.

I have a separate focuser built around a ronchi grating.  With no 
shutter, I use a large piece of plastic to start and end the exposure.  
I cover the scope, pull out the dark slide, and uncover.

I might start building and selling these cameras if there is any 
interest.
