Thanks for your input, Matt.  Yes, there is a field flattener that is near
the focus, but I'm not sure it can be as close as the flange.  Will have
to look with the optical design program.  Theoretically the design can
provide a 4" circle, but of course the diagonal obstruction gets silly.
I was going to shoot for 6X7 format and as I said the double use aspects
of the Pentax was attractive.  Thanks again...
