Re: [APML] LightJets?
So
what's a good home equivalent? I'm in the market for a good printer to
replace my old Epson.
Roland,
Results from the Epson 1270 are outstanding and totally
photographic. I am very picky yet this is the first printer where
I've had to admit that results fully equal a high quality photographic
print. You can do up to 13x18" prints and unlike other inkjet
prints I've seen they have a high gloss finish which does not show any
sign of 'ink profile' - the gloss surface looks perfect in any lighting
angle. There is a later model than the 1270 which is the same
except that you can print right up to the paper edge - i.e. no white
border.
I still use the LightJet when I need prints that are 16x20" or
larger.
