No, I don't think so.

Yes, if you use a large color space like Ektaspace or ProPhotoRGB.

You have a couple of things going on with the display of this image as you 
have it on your web page.

The blacks are not as dark as they should be, this is why it looks like it 
doesn't have enough dynamic range. In the lower right corner I'm reading 
24, 38, 66.

The other issue is, like Tony's, a color space one. You are using a working 
space in Photoshop and you are not properly converting to a monitor space 
for display on the web.

You need to do a color space conversion, but do not embed a profile for you 
web images. You'll save size that way, and the overwhelming majority of web 
browsers don't support embedded profiles anyway.
