I can think of at least two fellows--Philip Perkins and Bobby Middleton--who
took some fairly good astrophotos with, gasp, LX-200's, before they upgraded
their astrophoto equipment at considerable expense :-). Jason Ware has taken
a few astrophoto shots with Meade equipment as well.
