RE: [APML] A beginner's first (successful?) attempts



Matt,

Yeah, the scanner is working (although I think I am having SCSI problems
that cause VueScan to crash...)!

I am using the Celestron Radial Guider.  I plan on upgrading to the Lumicon
GEG as soon as I can.  I'm not to happy with the Celestron RG, the OAG port
tends to slip.  I have to use pliers to tighten the screw enough.

I plan to try some new films as things go.  The Elite Chrome 200 is easy to
get!

The scanner seems to be working well. :-)

I agree with your comments. The M27 did come out very nice. E200 lacks
some blue and green response.  You might try LE400 or RG200.  Or you
could combine shots from E200 and Provia 400F.  Very nice shots.

You used the Radial Guider?
