[APML] C 9.25 for AP?

I recently dug up as much info as I could find in the archives on the C9.25.
It seems there are some good & bad things regarding the 9.25's AP usefulness.
In particular, I read that the scopes' optics were funky and probably would 
cause
problems with a reducer.  Does anyone have any additional info on what type
of problems might be caused?  Additional vignetting? etc..  Anyone out 
there using this scope successfully?
I was considering trading up my LX10 setup for the OTA and using it w/ my G-11.
Don't want to do anything I'll regret though.
