Hi Steve,

I like your images.  Your veil shot turned out better than mine.  I don't 
have it posted because its
just not good enough (Shot w/ 8" sct).  As far as the ring effect.  It 
definitely looks to have been caused by
the bright 1.7 mag star alnitak on the left side of the image.  It probably 
reflected off the reducer in the geg,
then reflected off the corrector and over to the right side of the 
image.?  I would suspect this would be
due to poor light transmission in the reducer.?  I'm no pro, but it's a bit 
coincidental that alnitak is directly
across from the ring.  I still like the shot.
