RE: [APML] RG200 characteristics. Was: New Images From Last week end
Hi Frank,
It's a good thought, but unfortunately mixing Kodak and Fuji can't solve
the OIII problem in Kodak film. It should help to some degree with the Ha
problem in the Fuji film. But the problem with the OIII response in Kodak
film is that the proportions of blue/green are wrong. So regions of the
image which have OIII (almost all Ha regions to the best of my knowledge)
have this blue/green imbalance recorded permanently into the image. Mixing
the more correct balance of the Fuji image cannot "unrecord" the Kodak
imbalance, it can only blend it with the more correct balance. So there
should be some degree of correction, but it can't solve the problem.
