I mentioned awhile back that my experience was it had very low color
sensitivity. I think most would agree to stay away from Fuji for now. The old
400 and 800 Superia was good but this 4th layer stuff is bad.

Subject: [APML] another film
question
The fellow at the local photoshop who does my astro prints and
scans to CD
gave me a couple rolls of Fuji 1600 saying he had found it not
to be too
grainy. Although he understands the topic of reciprocity, he
really hasn't
any experience with this film on long exposures.
I
plan on trying the film from my back yard rather than on one of my
few
opportunities at a dark site. Is there anyone out there who has
direct
experience with having tried this film for long 45-60 minute) astro
exposures?
Steve
