While my autoguider thumps away
at more M33 negatives I picked up your 6820 image... all I can say is wow! I
can't recall any film image looking like that... maybe Chuck has one... your
version is rare in that it has all the gradients of film but much more detail, a
real incentive that CCD can look as good or better than film. I love to do image
processing, maybe there will be a future for me in CCD some
day...
Your image has the
best of both worlds... the smoothness of film and the detail of CCD... beautiful
job!
