    I set up last full moon to take some full moon shots, only to curse this cold front and clouds moving through... I was about to go back in the house when all of a sudden this image opened up ... I ran back down to the 4" f/8 and for thirty seconds captured the image... then just as quickly, it was gone! I have read how Ansel Adams felt when he saw "Moonrise over Hernandez..."... well, this is "Sierra Moonrise."

  I hope it translates into a small jpeg... the original file is 60MB ... this is pretty watered down.
