Filing Chapter 11 does not necessarily mean that Polaroid will go out of
business--that is Chapter 7. The Company will likely be reorganized,
continue to operate, restructure its debt and the losers will primarily be
the shareholders. The scanner may be a great deal and could get even
cheaper.
