The Baader rings are also very good. They are not really cheap, but not as
expensive as the Losmandy rings if I remember correctly. They are
rock-steady and it should be no big problem to get them mounted to the Vixen
rings that hold the Newtonian. But also the Vixen guidescope rings should do
well, even though they don't look as solid as the Baader or Losmandy rings.
But I guess Vixen has a "ready-to-go" solution to get them onto the
Newtonian.
BTW, did you already order that EQ-6 mount? You know that I have some doubts
concerning the quality of this mount, but I would be very interested to see
how it works.
Best regards
Andreas
P.S. Schieb mal die Wolken weg!
